Gilmour & Aitken Ltd offers a wide variety of marine timbers for the Ports and Harbours Industry around the UK and overseas.

From Piers, Coping, Fenders and ladders, wave screens, dock blocks and much more.

Timbers supplied for marine tend to be D50-D70, Class 1 timbers, but at times Douglas Fir can be supplied if requested by the customer.

Greenheart, Ekki, Opepe are the common timbers specified in marine to meet D50.

These timbers are FSC or PEFC certified, all sourced from sustainable forests and support trade in developing countries, supporting the UN goals.

Value Add Services are available at our yard of Drilling, Chamfering, Bolts, Ring and Shoeing, cut to drawings and planing if required.
