Specialising in Greenheart from Guyana, Ekki and Opepe from West Africa and a wide range of other marine sea defence timbers.

Timbers are supplied for large Beach Schemes funded by the Environment Agency, Local Councils and Large Contractors

Repair timbers for upgrade work to local councils and smaller contractors around the UK

All these timbers are FSC or PEFC certified and are sourced from sustainable forests, supporting trade in developing nations and the UN goals.

Gilmour & Aitken holds significant stock so can offer unusual stock sizes at short notice, graded if required.

Value Add Services are available at our yard of Drilling, Chamfering, Bolts, Ring and Shoeing, cut to drawing and planing if required.
