Gilmour and AItken supply timber to a broad range of general civil engineering and railways infrastructure projects.  We are a RISQS approved supplier.

Our timbers are chosen based on their specification requirements around strength, durability. Their natural resistance which requires no treatments allows direct contact with soil and water for a wide range of applications, including:

• Longditudinal Beams
• Bridge decks
• Timber beams
• Sleeper timbers
• Retaining walls

At our sawmill we can offer value add processing such as Drilling, Chamfering, Grading of Timbers for Network Rail, Metal work additions and more.

Our engineering timbers are all available with FSC or PEFC Certification.
