Case Study: Sluice Gates, Tilbury Harbour

Gilmour and Aitken won the tender to supply Greenheart timber to Tilbury Harbour, Essex.

The timber was to be used as part of ongoing sluicegate maintenance by the harbour team and was delivered well within the requested 10 week timescale.

As part of the service, Gilmour and Aitken provided the greenheart timber planed to a tongue and grooved profile, and drilled to create the sluicegate.
